Job summary

Mercy is seeking a patient transport associate to safely move patients and equipment across the Medical Center. The role requires maintaining equipment PAR levels and using Epic to monitor patient locations and asset movement throughout the facility.

Ideal candidates will have two years of customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a BLS CPR/AED certification. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing as part of daily shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center.
• Use Epic software to track each patient's location and equipment movement throughout the facility.
