Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment throughout the Medical Center, utilizing EPIC to monitor patient locations and equipment flow. The role emphasizes safe body mechanics and collaboration with multiple departments.

Preferred candidates bring a minimum of two years customer service experience and a BLS certification. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The position offers comprehensive Mercy benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED)
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center.
• Use Epic software to track each patient's location as they travel to and from designated areas throughout the facility.
• Use Epic software to track equipment movement throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate safe body mechanics and teamwork with coworkers.
