Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment safely within the Medical Center. You will assist multiple departments, use proper body mechanics, and maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.

You will use Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movements, work with a collaborative team, and provide reliable customer service. Preferred candidates have a High School diploma and two years of customer service experience, with BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED required.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment safely within the Medical Center.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
