Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity using at least two identifiers and transport to treatment areas.
• Safely transport patients, charts, specimens and equipment across the hospital.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and report issues to staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report equipment malfunctions.
• Provide emergency assistance to patients during transport and notify staff as needed.
• Notify dispatcher on completion and follow instructions during delays.
