Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Must complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to and from Radiology, Lab, ER and nursing units.
• Monitor patient condition and alert staff of changes.
• Read gauges on oxygen tanks and ensure proper flow.
• Operate transport equipment and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Record transport data and ensure smooth hand-offs.
