Mercy is seeking a transport role to move patients and equipment between hospital departments, prioritizing safety and correct body mechanics. The position supports patient care by ensuring timely relocation of people and gear across the Medical Center.

The role requires using Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movements, collaborating with co-workers across departments, and maintaining equipment PAR levels throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
