Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed or chair and non-patient moves to designated areas or departments.
• Maintains documentation and accurate handoffs with clinical staff; verifies patient identity and destination.
• Uses Electronic Medical Record systems for safe and efficient transport of patients.
• Maintains and sanitizes transport equipment and reports any malfunctions.
