Job summary

Saint Michael's Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a transporter to move patients within the department and support clerical tasks in a busy hospital setting. The role includes darkroom duties, stocking supplies, front office support, and patient interaction.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified in BCLS (AHA) upon hire. Experience in transportation is preferred and interaction with medical records and PACS is expected.

Qualifications

• BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the department.
• Performs darkroom duties, stocks supplies, and assists with front office tasks.
• Answers telephones, greets patients, and prepares requisitions for outpatients.
• Uses PACS and other office equipment to support the department.
• Provides clerical support and runs errands throughout the facility.
