Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital is seeking a part-time patient transport carrier dedicated to safety, confidentiality, and compassionate patient care. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols while supporting patient admits, discharges, and routine transports.

The position offers hourly pay of $18.40–$23.92 with a 20-hour weekly schedule, operating at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.

Qualifications

Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval).
Must be at least 18 years of age if working in Radiology areas (per Intermountain's Employment of Minors Policy).

Responsibilities

Transports patients in a safe and efficient manner.
Notifies patient nurse when taking or returning patient to/from room and notifies test site staff when patient arrives for test.
Uses Safe Patient Handling equipment as indicated.
Cleans transport equipment before and after every patient and returns to storage areas.
Notifies patient nurse or test site staff of problems during transport concerning patient condition or safety.
