UNC Health in Smithfield, NC is seeking a per diem Transporter to move patients between nursing units and to diagnostic areas. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment and support clinical staff with equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities include transporting patients, delivering equipment and nourishments, and reporting equipment issues. BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; no prior experience required.

Provides safe transportation for patients between nursing units and to and from diagnostic and treatment areas. Additional responsibilities include other indirect patient care activities such as maintaining a clean, well-stocked work environment in the assigned area. Work is performed under the close supervision of a hospital supply technician or a member of the nursing staff.
