Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Patient Transporter for the Central Transport department at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County. This Full Time Evening Shift handles patient movement across clinical and support areas, following safety guidelines and using approved devices.

You will dispatch transports, assist staff with patient transfers, and help maintain equipment and supplies while delivering excellent customer service to patients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from clinical areas as directed.
• Assists with patient transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Maintains department equipment and supplies.
• Performs dispatching duties to coordinate transports and document requests.
• Follows policies, participates in training, and provides excellent customer service.
