Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated transport associate to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center, ensuring safe patient handling and proper body mechanics.

You will maintain equipment PAR levels, collaborate with multiple departments, and use Epic to track patient location and equipment movement. A High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service experience are preferred, along with BLS CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Assist with patient-related activities as assigned and ensure safety and proper body mechanics.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Patient Transportation Department and other departments.
• Use Epic software to track patient location and equipment movement throughout the facility.
