Qualifications

• Must have ability to coordinate transport requests and communicate with staff, patients, and family members.
• Experience with tracking patient flow and prioritizing wheelchair van transports.
• Familiarity with lean processes to minimize waste and optimize staffing.
• Able to document transport requests accurately in the tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming transport requests and relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Schedule and prioritize wheelchair van transportation for discharges, appointments, and inter-facility transport.
• Utilize electronic tracking to monitor patient flow and STAT orders.
• Maintain supply inventory in the dispatch area and support cost-effective operations.
