Lawrence General Hospital, Inc. is seeking a patient care assistant to support the healthcare team in implementing the plan of care. You will help with discharge prep, transport patients, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include identifying safety risks, reporting incidents to the RN, maintaining supplies, and adhering to infection control policies. Orientation includes BLS certification if not already achieved, with potential for preceptorship and mentoring of colleagues.

Qualificações

• BLS certification required; orientation provided if needed.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with discharge preparation and safe patient transport.
• Identify safety risks and report incidents to reduce errors.
• Promptly report patient pain to the RN.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; restock as needed.
• Support infection control policies and hourly rounding.
• Deliver and pick up supplies, meds, and labs between departments.
