Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a part-time Patient Transport staff member to support the hospital’s transport needs. Duties include moving patients between testing and treatment areas, handling STAT requests, and discharging patients to designated areas.

No prior experience is required, but a High School diploma is preferred. CPR certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire, with additional BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications through the American Heart Association encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• No previous work experience required.
• CPR certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas.
• Execute STAT requests for specimens and patients.
• Discharge patients to designated areas.
• Transport outpatients to inpatient and testing areas.
• Perform other delivery services using the Transport Tracking System.
