Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Transport Associate to move patients at The General Hospital Campus. Shifts include Thursday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and Saturday–Sunday 11:00 AM–11:30 PM.

The role supports patient care by safely moving individuals to procedures and lab areas. The position requires standing and walking, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage equipment, supplies, and mail across hospital locations.

Qualifications

Essential Functions
  • Assisting patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Transporting patients to various locations in the hospital for medical procedures.
  • Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit.
  • Monitoring the scheduling system for transport requests and completing them promptly.
  • Delivering laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail.
