Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for transfer, admission, and consultation requests.
• Ensures calls are answered promptly and routed correctly.
• Collects and verifies demographic, referral, and operational information to initiate transfer workflow.
• Manages multi-line phone activity and prioritizes calls to support timely patient transitions.
• Documents call details in electronic health records and transfer management systems.
• Routes information to the appropriate clinician or operational team per protocols.
• Supports EMTALA-sensitive processes with complete intake documentation and escalation when needed.
• Coordinates non-clinical transport logistics and monitors ETA updates.
