Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transfer Center on Main Campus. You will coordinate patient throughput, monitor bed capacity, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely bed assignment and high-quality care.

The role requires a GA RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, and experience with care coordination. Evening shift is available with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the State of Georgia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related discipline preferred.
• Case management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient throughput from all entry points to support hospital bed flow.
• Receive communications related to bed requests for appropriate clinical care.
• Monitor bed capacity and communicate action plans for patient movement.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to reduce barriers to patient flow.
