Medical City McKinney is seeking a Patient Support Ambassador PRN to thoughtfully assist patients and guests on the units. You will ensure timely tray delivery, explain FANS procedures, and help resolve concerns while adhering to safety and infection control policies.

You will train new Hosts/Hostesses, collaborate with nurses and dietitians, and contribute to a supportive environment. This PRN role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within HCA Healthcare’s Medical City

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service experience in hospitality, hospital, or concierge roles.
• Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Represent FANS in an exemplary manner by adhering to ALWAYS and Code of Conduct

• Provide timely tray delivery service to all assigned patients on their units
• Explain FANS procedures to new patients
• Actively resolve customer and/or guest concerns in a timely manner
• Follow established safety, HACCP, and infection control policies and procedures
• Communicate with members of the healthcare team, including nurses and dietitians
• Effectively train new Hosts/Hostesses on relevant AM and PM duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need

• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a restaurant, hotel, hospital or concierge/guest services preferred
• Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
