Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking an onsite Medical Assistant to support seamless patient flow from check-in to exam. You will prepare patients for the physician encounter, perform basic health checks, and communicate clearly and compassionately to ensure high-quality care.

The role emphasizes intake, EMR management, and patient education, with attention to HIPAA, safety, and teamwork in a staffed clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduated from MA training program or at least 3 years experience.
• Current or in progress BLS certification.
• Right to work in the United States.
• Work the assigned clinic hours.

Responsibilities

• Intake & clinical rooming with vitals, medication/allergy verification, patient history and screenings.
• Inbox & worklist management using EMR routing to handle messages, labs and medication adherence follow-ups with pharmacies.
• Education & loop-back to ensure patients understand next steps and avoid rework.
