Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support intake, rooming, and patient education in an onsite clinic. You will verify medications and allergies, document history, and help prepare patients for their visit so doctors can focus on medical decisions.

You’ll handle EMR messaging, lab results, and medication follow-ups to keep the clinical workflow efficient, while using loop-back techniques to ensure patients understand next steps and adhere to care plans.

Qualifications

• Current or in progress BLS certification (where required).
• Graduated from a Medical Assistant training program or 3+ years of experience.
• Right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work the assigned clinic hours.

Responsibilities

• Intake and clinical rooming with vitals, history, screening.
• Manage EMR inbox and patient communications for same-day touch.
• Educate patients using loop-back to ensure understanding.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain smooth clinical flow.
