Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to perform the daily cleaning of patient rooms and transport patients in a hospital setting. You will also help prepare rooms, move equipment, and support OR turnover as needed.

Minimum 3–6 months’ environmental services experience in a medical setting is preferred. Adherence to HIPAA and privacy policies, along with safety protocols, is required for this role.

Qualificações

• 3–6 months environmental services experience, preferably within a medical setting.
• Ability to follow departmental guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards.
• HIPAA/privacy policies awareness and adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains the cleanliness of patient rooms, unit equipment, storage areas, nursing station, refrigerators, and other designated areas.
• Inventories and maintains linen, equipment, and supplies for equipment, and all aspects of patient care.
• Transports patients and equipment as directed, as evidenced by management observation.
• May assist in the movement, positioning and transporting of OR patients.
• May assist in turning over OR rooms including bed cleaning, trash removal, and emptying dirty linen according to departmental guidelines.
