Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Peoria, AZ is seeking a team lead for our patient service center in the northwest valley. The role provides oversight to ensure excellent patient diagnostic care and acts as the primary liaison between staff and management.

You will supervise phlebotomy/test management, contribute to process quality improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Prior leadership and phlebotomy experience are required; associates degree and national phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in clinical laboratory phlebotomy/test management area.
• Ability to perform complex problem solving and leadership.
• Effective oral and written communication; advanced computer skills.
• Excellent customer service; knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as initial resource and liaison between staff, other departments, and Patient Services management.
• Assist, resolve, and report to the area Supervisor.
• Perform technical or administrative work at an advanced level of competency.
• Engage in patient and process quality improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance.
