Job summary

Pullman Regional is seeking an Administrative Assistant-Switchboard Operator to handle a high volume of calls, route them accurately, and provide exceptional patient service. The role includes clerical tasks such as scanning documents into the EMR and filing, with attention to detail and reliability essential.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Prior switchboard experience is a plus; the company offers a supportive environment focused on community care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Prior experience with a switchboard or multi-line phone service.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls for Pullman Regional Hospital.
• Efficiently connect callers to the appropriate extension.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with clerical tasks between phone calls (scanning documents into our electronic medical record, filing, etc.)
• Obtain information from agencies or sources to complete projects and reports as needed.
• Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of completeness of responsibilities.
• The employee will be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
