Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Grand Haven to provide registration, concierge and clerical services. You will work as part of a team to ensure a smooth patient experience, from check-in to check-out, while supporting referrals and scheduling.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Primary location is Grand Haven, with day shifts and no weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle complex patient/customer problems.
• Perform administrative tasks: scheduling, referrals, procedures, and medical record review.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Handle EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax uploads to EPIC.
• Train new team members using standard work.
