Job summary

Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals Infusion Therapy in Muskegon is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team. You will provide registration, concierge and clerical support in a new 7-chair infusion clinic, helping patients receive non-oncology therapies close to home.

You will register patients, schedule referrals and tests, obtain insurance authorizations, and handle EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax uploads to EPIC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in insurance billing or related healthcare support.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assist with check-in and room assignments.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals and tests.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Handle EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax uploads to EPIC.
• Assist with training new team members and safety initiatives.
• Perform and support clerical duties as needed.
• Act as Patient Services Representative when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
