Job summary

Penn Medicine, Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, seeks a Patient Services Associate to support the Cancer Center’s patient-focused operations, including check-in/out, scheduling, and front-end billing tasks. The PSA manages patient calls and inquiries, updates insurance and demographics in the EMR, collects copays, and coordinates appointments.

Rotation between PSA functions and departments may occur, onsite Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years medical office experience or relevant customer service experience.
• Associate of Arts or Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient arrival/departure and scheduling.
• Handle patient calls, inquiries, and EMR data updates.
• Collect copays, verify insurance, and assist with POS activities.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and department policies.
• Rotation between PSA functions/departments may be required.
