Lumexa Imaging, Inc., in partnership with American Health Imaging, has an entry-level Patient Service Representative role open at the Summerville location. The full-time position features weekday hours from 10am to 7pm and a patient-focused environment in outpatient radiology.

Responsibilities include scheduling diagnostic exams, handling authorizations and verifications, greeting patients, answering calls, and assisting billing with data entry and insurance verification.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years experience in medical office or hospital.
• Experience in authorizations and insurance verification preferred.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage high patient volume.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorization and verifications.
• Check patients in/out; answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate information to billing office; insurance verification.
