Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is seeking a Patient Service Representative II in Dover, DE for a full-time role. You will greet patients and families using AIDET, verify demographics and insurance, and manage check-in/check-out tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

You will also process payments, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months of related experience, and strong computer/typing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months of job-related experience.
• Computer/typing skills required.
• Clerical experience in a physician's office preferred; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients and families at the start of outpatient visits using AIDET.
• Verify and complete demographic and insurance information prior to visits; ensure accuracy.
• Support check-in/check-out processes and collect co-pays; maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Reconcile payments and complete End of Day reports; ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to route results and communications to the appropriate team member.
