Job summary

Nemours seeks a Patient Services Rep II for our Newark Primary Care office to provide friendly, accurate front-desk service and manage outpatient visit-related tasks. You will verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate with clinical staff to maintain smooth clinic flow while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

This full-time role requires proficiency with EPIC and iGuide systems, strong multitasking, and a commitment to quality service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months of job related experience preferred.
• Computer/typing skills required.
• Clerical experience in a physician's office preferred; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families using AIDET protocol at the start of visits.
• Verify demographics and insurance information at check-in.
• Collect co-pays and post payments; reconcile end of day.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate status to patients.
• Maintain waiting area and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely outpatient flow.
