Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.

• Ability to protect PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous connections with patients by phone, in person or messaging, enhancing patient experience.
• Documents calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtains insurance cards and IDs, verifies information for benefits coordination.
• Assists patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs; educates on financial assistance and collects payments.
• Keeps updated on role responsibilities and participates in meetings to maintain high performance.
