Job summary

Almara Women's Health | OGI is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support patient registration, check-in and phone duties across Edina and Maple Grove locations. The role includes scheduling and back-office PSR tasks in a fast-paced medical practice.

Required are a high school diploma and customer service experience; medical terminology knowledge is preferred. A sign-on bonus may be offered for select roles with a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-pays, pre-pays, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurately schedule new and existing patients in the practice management system.
• Communicate appointment information, directions, and check-in times, along with referral and co-payment details.
• Prepare and manage patient charts.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and direct calls as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of health care plan requirements and networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
