Job summary

Almara Women's Health | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Maple Grove fertility clinic. The role focuses on patient registration, check-in, co-pay collection, and handling phone calls, with a Monday–Friday schedule and one Saturday every 11th month.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience, with medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
• Chart preparation and management
• Answer patient calls, schedule appointments and direct calls as appropriate
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
• Any and all other duties as assigned
