Job summary

Almara Women's Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for its Edina and Maple Grove locations. The role focuses on patient registration, check-in, scheduling, and handling PSR backend tasks in a busy obstetrics, gynecology and infertility practice.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, strong customer service experience, and knowledge of medical terminology. The position offers a full-time schedule Monday to Friday with a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management system.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management.
• Answer patient calls, schedule appointments and direct calls as appropriate.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
