Job summary

Summit Health in Kentucky is hiring a Patient Service Representative to join our physician-led, patient-centric network. The PSR supports the Care Team with clinical and administrative duties, delivering friendly service and accurate scheduling, insurance verification, and payments processing.

Under supervision, you will greet patients, manage registration and records in the EHR, coordinate appointments, and communicate with patients to ensure a positive experience and efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Previous PSR experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and directs them to the proper team member.
• Maintains efficient patient flow during registration.
• Answers calls, takes messages, and routes them appropriately.
• Updates patient information and coordinates with care teams.
• Performs clerical duties and supports scheduling and billing tasks.
