Job summary

Central Oregon Surgery Center (COSC), part of Cascade Surgicenter, is seeking a part-time Patient Services Specialist in Bend, OR. The role supports front desk reception, patient check-in, insurance verification, and chart preparation in a patient-centered outpatient setting.

You will coordinate reception activities, assist with basic billing tasks when needed, and ensure accurate medical records and communications across the care team.

Central Oregon Surgery Center (COSC) is looking to add a part-time Patient Services Specialist to our growing team of outstanding employees. Position duties

The Patient Service Specialist role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating the reception area activities to promote communication through the facility.

Front Desk Reception

• Greets patients, verify insurance and ID
• Answer incoming calls, voicemails and faxes
• Back up support for billing tasks

Medical Records

• Marks and obtains all necessary signatures to complete chart
• Prepare patient charts, upload financial documentation
• Entering depletions into AdvantX
• Break down patient charts
