Job Summary
The Patient Services Specialist is responsible for front-end business operations at the assigned clinic, including patient registration, verification of demographic information, creation and maintenance of electronic charts. This role handles incoming calls, schedules appointments within established timeframes, obtains demographic and insurance information, verifies insurance, and identifies patient funding sources, including eligibility for AHCCCS. The specialist notifies clinical team members upon registration completion and schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
