Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a patient registrar to greet, instruct, and direct patients, register and check in for visits, and coordinate after-visit activities. The role acts as a liaison between patients and medical staff, handling payments and scheduling follow-ups.

The position requires excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, comfort with computer technology, and prior healthcare exposure is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff and other customers.
• Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to use independent thinking, sound judgement, and creativity when resolving customer issues.
• Ability to balance priorities and effectively handle challenging situations.

• Perform registration, check-in, and check-out for patient visits
• Schedule follow-up visits, including labs, imaging, and other diagnostic testing
• Collect co-pays and notify patients of schedule changes
