Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Norman Peds Clinic. The role handles scheduling, front-desk greetings, demographics, insurance, and payments, supporting smooth clinic operations.

Level 1 or 2 based on experience; responsibilities include EMR uploads, collecting income proofs for sliding scale, and patient portal promotion. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are valued in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of professional work experience required (Level 1) or 3+ years with at least 6 months in a clinical environment (Level 2).
• No lic/ certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments by phone or in person.
• Greet patients upon arrival.
• Collect and verify patient demographics.
• Answer and route telephone calls.
• Assist with billing and receipts.
• Upload insurance cards into the EMR.
• Promote the patient portal for clinic communication.
• Prepare ancillary forms as needed.
