Job summary

The Liberty Clinic is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the front desk team and ensure a smooth patient experience in a busy ambulatory setting. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, and assist with MyChart and EMR tasks to prepare for daily appointments.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, at least one year of customer service or healthcare experience, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years customer service or health care experience.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Schedule internal and external referrals and coordinate pre-visit planning.
• Schedule in-person, telehealth, surgeries, and ancillary services using Epic Cadence.
• Maintain knowledge of appointment types, locations, providers and specialties.
• Coordinate patient itineraries with multiple appointments and ensure proper registration.
• Collect copays, verify insurance, and process MSQP and referrals in the EMR.
• Support MyChart activation and online check-in for patients.
• Assist high-volume front desk check-in/out and phone reception per health system standards.
• Ensure patient signatures on consent and financial forms; follow EMR documentation.
