SimonMed in Centennial, CO is seeking a per-diem Front Desk/Receptionist to greet patients, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and manage intake forms. You will respond to inquiries, schedule or adjust appointments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.

Responsibilities include handling insurance verification, data entry, and coordinating with radiology or tech staff to ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and insurance verification software preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and verify insurance information for billing purposes.
• Respond to patient inquiries compassionately and respectfully.
• Collect and process forms such as insurance details and consent forms.
• Answer phone calls and relay messages.
• Update patient files and maintain confidentiality in HIPAA-compliant manner.
