Community Care Physicians is hiring a full-time Patient Support Specialist for the Family Practice Clifton Park location. The role supports patient check-in, scheduling, and communications in a medical office environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with clerical experience in a medical setting preferred, plus knowledge of medical terminology and a commitment to confidentiality. Salary is hourly with opportunities for growth and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education desirable.
• Previous clerical experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to cooperate with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients upon arrival.
• Process incoming calls/messages per office policy.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Obtain patient signatures for waivers per insurance requirements.
• Organize and monitor the provider's daily schedule; maintain timely patient flow.
• Verify insurance/demographic information at visits and update as needed.
