Job summary

North Country Family Health Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, check in/out, collect co-pays, and handle insurance questions to keep the practice running smoothly.

The role requires strong interpersonal and verbal communication, basic typing and computer skills, and familiarity with medical terminology. A degree or certification in office studies or related field is preferred.

• Shall be knowledgeable in medical and dental terminology.
• Shall possess typing skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications.

Requirements

Has a degree or certification in office studies, business administration, or related field. Relevant experience in the field may be substituted for degree requirement. Has an excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skill. Shall be knowledgeable in medical and dental terminology. Shall possess typing skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications. Gives attention to detail and possesses problem resolution skills. Has a positive attitude and high energy, is a quick learner, is adaptable to change, and is resourceful and proactive when identifying and resolving problems.
