Job summary

North Country Family Health Center in Watertown, TN is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our front desk team. You will welcome patients, book appointments, check in/out, handle payments, sliding fees, and help with insurance questions.

You will collaborate with PSRs, Finance, and Practice Administrators to keep patient flow smooth and provide excellent customer service in a compassionate healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Has a degree or certificate in office studies, business administration, or related field; experience may substitute.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Description

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) works as part of a team with other PSRs, Finance, and Practice Administrators to ensure smooth patient flow within the practice on a day-to-day basis. This includes serving as the “Face of the Health Center” in customer service, making appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting co-payments, sliding fees, and outstanding balances, assisting patients with insurance and payment responsibilities answering phones, and directing inquiries as assigned.

Requirements

• Has a degree or certification in office studies, business administration, or related field. Relevant experience in the field may be substituted for degree requirement.
