Job summary

Lawall Prosthetic & Orthotic Services is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first contact for patients, referral sources, and visitors. You will verify insurance benefits and secure authorizations to ensure timely access to prosthetic and orthotic services.

Position reports to the Patient Accounts Supervisor and supports a friendly, team-oriented environment with a focus on exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, medical billing, or healthcare reimbursement.
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial insurance plans.
• Understanding of coding guidelines (HCPCS, ICD-10).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage information.
• Obtain prior authorizations for prosthetic and orthotic services.

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a friendly, team-oriented environment. The PSR serves as the first point of contact for our patients, referral sources, and visitors. As a PSR, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely access to prosthetic and orthotic services by verifying insurance benefits and securing necessary authorizations. This rolereports directly to the Patient Accounts Supervisor and plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Office Location : 901 East 8th Avenue, 1st Floor Suite 104, King of Prussia, PA 19406

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage information.
• Obtain prior authorizations for prosthetic and orthotic services.
• Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage, authorization requirements, and claim status.
