SeattleNTC is excited to open a new staff position! The Patient Services Representative at Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center PLLC plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients from their initial contact through the completion of their care. This position is responsible for managing patient registration, verifying insurance information, and facilitating accurate billing processes to support the financial health of the practice. The representative acts as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of any issues. Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures are essential to maintain compliance and accuracy. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to patient satisfaction and the efficient operation of the neuropsychiatric treatment center.

This position will be based at our Bellevue clinic located in the Bellefield Office Park. This is a full-time (40hr/week) on-site position with some flexibility in shift schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in patient registration and medical billing within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance processes and terminology.
  • Proficiency in using fax machines and other office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to handle documentation accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a physician's office or hospital billing department.
  • Knowledge of neuropsychiatric healthcare services and related billing codes.
  • Certification in medical billing or healthcare administration.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
