Job summary

Cape Cod Orthopaedics is seeking a compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team in Sandwich, MA. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in delivering a positive patient experience while supporting our providers and clinical staff in delivering orthopedic care.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, registering new patients, updating demographics and insurance, handling calls, collecting payments, maintaining EMR records, and coordinating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a medical office, orthopedic practice, or healthcare customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical scheduling software is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
