Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Register patients and maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and medical record information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations and consents, and assist with billing-related tasks.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, patient inquiries, families, and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with providers, nursing staff, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated care.
• Document communications accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Support daily clinic operations, including office organization, inventory, supply management, and administrative tasks.

This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, patient-centered environment while coordinating appointments, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.

The Patient Services Representative supports a variety of services, including Clinical, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Early Intervention (EI), and Mental Health programs.
