Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in for appointments.
• Register patients in EHR and verify insurance information.
• Schedule appointments based on provider availability.
• Collect co-pays and account balances and communicate with billing.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to address patient questions promptly.

Wake Orthopedics a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking a Patient Services Representative to fill a full-timeposition, in our North Raleigh Region Office locationsworking front desk. The North Raleigh Region includes our North Raleigh, Brier Creek and Wake Forest office locations. We offer a unique work environment promoting personal and professional growth. Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Communicate with the patient in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Greet patients and check them in for their appointment.
• Register patient in EHR including insurance verification.
• Schedule patient appointments based on provider availability and preference.
• Collect monies owed such as co-pays and balances.
• Communicate with billing staff as needed to ensure patient’s financial impact is accurate.
• Communicate with clinical staff as needed to ensure patient medical questions are answered timely.
• Document accurately within our EHR, Epic.
• Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.
