Empower Pharmacy, a fast-growing national compounding and FDA-registered outsourcing facility, seeks a Pharmacy Technician, Patient Services to support patients and providers in a high-volume operation.

The role ensures accurate prescription intake, compliant documentation, and proactive communication while embracing approved AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes across the business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in pharmacy operations or high-volume regulated environment.
• Experience handling patient interactions with professionalism, clarity, empathy, and strong follow-through.
• Willingness to adopt AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and patient data accurately, resolving incomplete information to prevent delays.
• Maintain audit-ready records across systems, ensuring compliance and traceability.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, escalating when needed to preserve turnaround times.
• Deliver clear, empathetic communication explaining processes, timelines, and next steps.
• Manage patient and provider inquiries, including escalations, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Prioritize daily workload across multiple queues while maintaining accuracy and service levels.
• Propose workflow improvements to reduce delays and errors and improve coordination.
• Adopt approved AI tools to streamline communication and documentation.
